Start Here | The Roadmap to Health After 50
You’re here because the strategies that worked in your 30s no longer work.
The calorie cutting. The restricted diets. The pushing through exhaustion with no end in sight.
It worked then. It doesn’t work now. And the standard medical advice isn’t filling the gap.

We’re Shawn and Wendy. Married for 30 years, we’ve spent the last 19 years discovering what truly works for our bodies and our children’s. Now in our 50s, we face new challenges that require us to confront them directly.
Why Most Health Advice Fails Us as we age
Your doctor says eat less, move more.
The wellness accounts you follow are run by people in their 30s with collagen-plump faces, knees that don’t make sounds, who has more than a decade before facing menopause or that midlife crisis, and to make it worse – their hair that isn’t thinning or turning grey.
The research behind most diet plans was done on younger populations. And the friend who lost 20 pounds swears by something that wrecked your gut in a week. Or they are taking GLP-1’s, and you aren’t ready to jump on that train – yet.
One diet plan food pyramid to follow that doesn’t work for all ages, sexes, individuals, or even genetics.
There’s a massive gap between “talk to your doctor” and “follow this influencer’s meal plan.” That gap is where most men & women over 50 are actually living.
You’re trying – most of the time. Eating better. Trying to move more. Using Red Light Therapy, making high-protein pancakes. Paying attention. And somehow still gaining weight, losing energy, and sleeping worse than you did ten years ago.
At some point, you start wondering if this is just what getting older feels like, and most people just accept it.
Not us! But figuring out what actually works at this stage takes a personalized approach. Paying attention. Asking Questions. Demanding Answers. Individual Focus. And, getting information from people who are living in this stage of life with you.

The Simple Six
If you read our story, you know that we’ve spent 19 years tracking our health through 39 countries, and realized our health and wellness come down to six things. Not ten. Not twenty. Six.
Gut health, because our entire immune system starts here. Nutrition, because our bodies have changed at 50. Beauty, because real skin health starts with what you put on it and what comes from the inside. Energy, because the you don’t need to be crashing out in the afternoon. Weight loss, because midlife weight gain has nothing to do with willpower. And sleep, because it’s the most underrated piece of the puzzle and the one most people struggle to fix.
We’ve organized Everything around these six areas:
If Your Digestion and Immunity Are Off
Your gut runs more than you think. Digestion, energy, mood, immunity, even skin. When it’s off, everything is off. This is the foundation for your entire body.

If Your Skin Is Changing
Skincare products alone won’t fix what’s happening on the inside. In fact, they could make things worse. Gut health, nutrition, sleep, and stress all show up on your face before any cream gets a chance to work.
